Jac Holliday

I can walk into any flower shop, close my eyes, and when the scent of freshly cut flowers and the sweet floral fragrances hit me, nostalgia kicks in. It always reminds me of how my love of beauty and nature began. Learning the essentials of floral design, creativity, and its relationship with the world was the inspiration my mother gave me.

Picking up my first digital camera over a decade ago was what allowed me to intertwine my adventurous free spirit and love for artistic experimentation with the breathtaking islands of Hawaii.

Nature and wildlife photography helped me hone my craft, but my focus shifted after becoming a mother, which evolved my practice and body of work. I found a deeper meaning in my art, exploring life's energy, its flows, and its cycles. Through my artwork, I try to convey my unique perceptions, inspire others and possibly even change the world (even just a little).
